The opening session of Perth Masters 2017 saw big wins for Teams Brewster (Sco), Ulsurd (nor) Snitil (Cze) and MacDonald (Sco). MacDonald narrowly missed his opportunity for an 8 at the final end.
Two very tight games went down to the final stone. Eskilsson won over Hess scoring a 2 at the last end to win 8-7. Grant Hardie (Sco) produced an inspired 2 at the last end to beat Steffan Walstad (Nor) 5-4.
Young Scot, Cameron Bryce, beat a strong Swiss Team skipped by Felix Attinger and now meets past Master Winner Thomas Ulsrud (Norway) tomorrow morning.
