On day two of the 2012 Mercure Perth Masters it was an early rise for yesterday's losers!
In the 8.30am session, Kyle Smith's young team won back with a 4-2 win over the Russians after taking a big 3 at the 4th end. James Grattan proved too hot for Svensgaard, running out 8-3 winners after opening up with a three and a two at the first 3 ends. Sandy Reid returned to form with a comfortable 7-1 victory over Sik and Logan Gray's big 3 at the 6th end helped him see off the Latvians by 7-2. Craig Reid was 7-0 up on Mellemseter before winning 9-2 and Hess took a 5 at the 3rd end in his demolition of John Hamilton.
In the two all-Scottish games Blair Fraser and Lee McCleary proved too strong for Jay McWilliams and Alan Chalmers respectively.
